Ryanair has hit back at British advertising watchdogs by refusing to withdraw an ad showing a schoolgirl dressed in a sexually provocative way.
The controversial ad which has been around since 2007 continues to attract massive publicity.
Ryanair argued that many national newspapers regularly ran pictures of topless or partially clad women.
Peter Sherrard, the airline’s communications chief, said: “This isn’t advertising regulation. It is simply censorship.”
