Small businesses in Camden, London are getting free advertising advice from one of their neighbours RKCR/Y&R.
The agency has set up shop to offer free consultations and executions to local traders, stall holders and other independent retailers.
Richard Exon, the chief executive of RKCR/Y&R, said: “RKCR is based in Camden and felt we wanted to give something back to the community.
“The current economic climate can be hard on independent shops – if we can help make the slightest difference to local business by offering up our creativity, then we’re happy to do so.”
All of the creative work from the project will be put on view at the end of the week.
Wow, this is a very cooool idea, I love to see folk giving something back.
This is something that should be replicated here in Dublin. Theres lots of little businesses out there that dont have budgets for marketing and PR etc which could be the making or breaking of their businesses.
How about some of us get together in solidarity with small businesses who are under pressure in the current climate and give them some free expertise in the areas of marketing, PR, online or just simply good sound creative advice.
Anyone up for it??
